I got to see what most of the world wanted - Simon - Si to many but a trusted friend to me. He trusted us with his career - and he shined bright - ready to turn on that smile within the blink of an eye - Simon's passing has shocked me to the core, only his family will feel more grief. We loved each other - don't get me wrong he pissed me off immensely - he made sure of that and whether I was mum or dad in his life, Scott and I were his support network - and a role we…

My condolences to the family and friends of Simon.  I didn't know him personally, but followed him on social media.  He seemed to be a very friendly and caring guy.  Anyone who got to know him, was a lucky person.  RIP Simon. πŸ™

My sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Simon. Like many, I didn't know Simon, and first became aware of him in his pinup shots in the gay media, what a beautiful man! Then I followed him in his roles as an ambassador and ally to many groups, organisations and individuals through media/social media. I am a bit older than Simon was but I learnt a lot from him and I know that there are younger people out there who have benefited from his voice on being…

I knew Simon for many years. A long time ago we used to do our gym sessions together every day. He was much more experienced and driven in the gym than I was, and yet he was always happy to take the time to help and motivate me to do better. He was one of the most generous people I've ever known. He always thought of others and tried to take care of everyone he met. I will miss him always. My deepest condolences to all his family.

I first met Simon some years ago in London at Fitness First, followed by rugby, interactions through Pride in Sport, Mardi Gras and more recently socially. (both very tanned in the attached lol) Such an awesome guy, so talented, thoughtful, an inspirational leader, an all round a nice bloke, as charming as they come and handsome as a Greek god. " Simon, everything you touched you made it or them better. You made a huge difference to so many people's lives and saved many…

It is devastating to see a life cut so short when he had his whole life ahead of him. For someone with so much Love to give, time to share and support to impart that he couldn't ask for the same in return. I try to be there for those who need support or just an ear to listen and know that what you see in front of you isn't always what it seems to be. To Simon's family and friends, you may have lost the body of Simon but you and the whole LGBTQI+ Community will always…

I've followed Simon online for some years now, probably 8 or more. He knew some of my friends when he lived in the Calgary area; I'm in Vancouver. It was an absolute and total shock when a friend of mine posted something online with 'RIP Simon Dunn'. I thought at first it was some horrible mistake. Sadly it wasn't.While we don't know all the details, we don't need them to know that family, friends and loved ones, both in Australia and abroad, are devestated. I hope…

Love to family and friends of Simon. Even though we are worlds apart - he touched many, in different ways.
He is... and will always be a "shining star".
